About us
A roofing company built on showing its work.
RoofMaster Co. repairs and replaces roofs, siding and gutters for homes and commercial buildings across Texas. We were set up around one idea: you should be able to see every decision we make about your roof.

Why we exist
Roofing in Texas has a trust problem. We’d rather solve it than exploit it.
After every big storm, homeowners get the same experience: a knock on the door, a ladder against the gutter, and a contract on the kitchen table. Texas doesn’t license roofing contractors statewide, so it’s hard to know who you’re dealing with.
Commercial owners have a quieter version of the same problem: bids that can’t be compared, recommendations to replace roofs that could have been maintained, and reports that never arrive.
Our answer is documentation. Every inspection ends with photos. Every estimate is written line by line. Every surprise is photographed and approved before we touch it. It’s slower to sell that way. It’s also how you’d want a roofer to treat your house.
Photo-documented inspections
Every inspection ends with a photo report of what we saw on each slope — including what is fine. You keep it whether or not you hire us.
Written, line-item scope
Estimates list materials, quantities, and labor by line. If decking turns out to be rotten, the per-sheet price is already in writing before work starts.
No deductible games
Texas law makes it illegal for a contractor to waive, absorb or rebate an insurance deductible. We don’t, and we put that in the contract.
One project lead, start to finish
The person who scopes your roof is the person you call during the job. Daily updates on tear-off and install days.
Magnetic sweep, every day
Crews tarp landscaping, protect siding, and run magnetic sweeps for nails at the end of each work day — not just the last one.

Lines we don’t cross
What we won’t do
- Waive or “cover” your deductible
It’s illegal in Texas, and it usually means the estimate is padded somewhere else.
- Ask you to sign the same day
Our estimates don’t come with expiring discounts. Take the time to compare.
- Lay new shingles over old ones
We tear off to the deck so we can see and fix what’s underneath.
- Bill for work you didn’t approve
Anything outside the written scope is photographed and approved by you first.
- Present stock photos as our jobs
Images on this site illustrate the work we describe. Real project photos are labeled as ours.

Credentials
What to ask any roofer — including us
Without a statewide roofing license in Texas, these questions do the vetting. Ask them of every contractor you’re considering.
- 01A certificate of insurance (general liability and workers’ compensation, or an equivalent policy) sent directly from the agent
- 02A written, itemized scope — not a single lump-sum number
- 03Who will actually be on your roof, and who you call during the job
- 04Workmanship warranty terms in writing, separate from the manufacturer’s warranty
- 05A local business address and references from recent customers
- 06How hidden conditions such as rotten decking are priced before work starts
