  1. Two construction professionals reviewing plans on a tablet

    01Day 0

    First conversation

Call, send the estimate form, or email photos. Someone from our office calls you back to understand what you’re seeing, how old the roof is, and whether insurance may be involved.

If it sounds urgent, we treat it that way. If it sounds like something you can wait on, we’ll tell you that too.

    You receive

    • A booked visit time
    • The name of the person coming out

    We’ll ask you to

    • Have a rough idea of the roof’s age
    • Note any leaks or stains and when they appear
  2. Roofer standing on a residential roof during an inspection

    0245–90 min

    Inspection

We start on the ground, go up where it’s safe, and finish in the attic. Every slope, penetration, flashing detail and ventilation component gets checked and photographed.

Before we leave, we walk you through what we found in plain language.

    You receive

    • A verbal walkthrough on site
    • Answers to your questions before we leave

    We’ll ask you to

    • Provide attic access
    • Point out any problem areas inside
  3. Shingle roof with a decorative gable vent

    03≈1 business day

    Report & written scope

You receive a photo report with a status for each part of the roof, and — if work is needed — a written scope listing materials, quantities and labor by line.

Hidden-condition pricing (like rotten decking per sheet) is written in up front. No “we’ll see when we get up there.”

    You receive

    • Photo condition report
    • Line-item estimate with options
    • Warranty terms in writing

    We’ll ask you to

    • Compare against other bids, line by line
    • Ask us anything that isn’t clear
  4. Roofer carrying a bundle of shingles across a roof

    04Varies

    Scheduling & prep

Once you approve, we order materials, handle permits where required, and confirm your install date. We watch the forecast and call you if weather moves anything.

Your project lead explains what to expect on site: noise, start times, where the trailer sits, and how to prepare.

    You receive

    • Confirmed dates
    • A prep checklist
    • Direct number for your project lead

    We’ll ask you to

    • Clear the driveway on install day
    • Secure pets and protect attic storage
  5. Two roofers in safety harnesses tied off while working on a shingle roof

    051–3 days typical

    The work

Crews work tied off and protect your landscaping, siding and AC units. Old roofing comes off only as fast as new protection can go down, so the house is weather-tight at the end of each day.

If we find anything unexpected, you see photos and approve it before we do it.

    You receive

    • Daily progress updates
    • Photos of anything unexpected before it’s fixed

    We’ll ask you to

    • Be reachable for quick decisions
  6. Aerial view of a single-story home with a gray architectural shingle roof

    06Final day

    Walkthrough & handover

We inspect the finished roof, sweep the property for nails, clean gutters, and walk it with you. You receive the photo record of each stage, your invoice, and warranty documents.

    You receive

    • Completion photos
    • Warranty paperwork
    • Final invoice matching the approved scope

    We’ll ask you to

    • Walk the property with us
    • Tell us if anything isn’t right

During the project

Questions about the work itself

How long does a roof replacement take?

Most single-family shingle roofs take one to three working days on site. Large, steep or complex roofs and metal installations take longer. Weather can shift the schedule.

Will you protect my yard and landscaping?

Yes. We tarp beds and AC units, protect siding where debris falls, and run magnetic sweeps for nails each day.

Is my home exposed if it rains mid-project?

We remove only what can be dried in the same day. At the end of each work day the roof is covered with underlayment or tarps.

Who do I contact during the job?

Your project lead — the same person who scoped your roof. You’ll get their direct number at the start.
